How this estimate is worked out

1. Units from your bill

Your monthly bill is divided by the applicable electricity tariff to work out roughly how many units you consume each month.

2. Size from units

Each kW of rooftop solar generates a typical number of units per day in Madhya Pradesh. We size the system to cover your consumption, rounded to the nearest half kW.

3. Saving and payback

Saving is the value of the units your system offsets. Payback compares the net cost after subsidy against that annual saving.
